After consolidating their on-air and off-channel media teams in an effort to focus on creative and strategy, a growing cable network group realized they needed to outsource the nitty-gritty operations work to an agency who could handle the entire media deployment process. A major network’s broadcast division was spending millions of dollars with affiliates each year with the expectation that stations ran spots as ordered. With no meaningful accountability mechanism in place, network executives wanted to ensure they were getting what they paid for and that spots were aired strategically to support their programming. Millenia3 set up a process that would provide airplay data to our client without raising concern with the affiliates (and potentially compromising the integrity of the test). We meticulously collected and analyzed this data to provide a customized report on a semi-annual basis.
